Germanium has been implicated in
the promotion of healthy oxygen flow to tissues and normal
functioning of immune cells. Many view germanium as a substance that
can help maintain healthy balance of body functions.*

Minerals for Life™ water-soluble
Germanium is a dietary supplement containing elemental germanium.
Germanium is an element that is structured to act as a semiconductor
as it accepts and transmits electrons.* It was discovered by a
German scientist, Clemens Winkler, in 1886. It is closely related to
the elements carbon and silica. In human biology germanium is highly
efficient as an intracellular electrical impulse initiator.* It
helps correct distortions in the electrical aggregate of the human
body and is a metallic cofactor for oxygen utilization.*
Germanium is necessary for the optimum nutrition of the human body.
This element has an amazing capacity to raise the level of activity
of various organs by enabling them to attract more oxygen.*
Germanium supports the body’s natural defense system.*
“The holy waters at Lourdes, known worldwide for their healing
properties, contain large amounts of germanium,” according to Dr.
Joel Wallach in Rare Earth. Germanium is necessary in
maintaining a strong immune system. Dr. Azuhiko Asai of Tokyo,
Japan, discovered the nutritional properties of germanium and
suggested a link between the enhanced beneficial qualities of herbs
containing high levels of germanium.
Germanium is still being researched for all of its possible
supplementary applications. Germanium improves oxygen flow to
tissues, and it’s believed that this alone is a major part of why
it is such a dynamic element.* Improved oxygen flow to tissues
boosts circulation, which improves stamina and endurance.* Germanium
supports increased oxygen levels for optimum health.*
Studies have also indicated antioxidant properties for germanium,
which help in the removal of free radicals.*
Germanium promotes healthy oxygen flow to tissues and normal
functioning of immune cells.* It promotes ease of joint movement,
the formation and maintenance of strong bones, the inhibition of
free radicals, and proper cell replication.* A proper balance of
germanium helps to maintain the body’s immune status and maintain
the electrical and physical integrity of the heart.* It also
promotes ease of joint movement, long-term mental alacrity, and
healthy arteries, tissues, and organs.*
